Recuerdo de Calella [Memories of Calella]
1976, February 23rd. On that date, I made my first painting with oils I got from my father’s niece, who was a nun in a convent. From her I received a box with virginal tubes paint of Talens / Van Gogh. They were five tubes: with a blue, a white, a yellow, a brown and a black paint; the green on this painting I made by mixing colours. The painting is a reproduction of the souvenir I received from my father and mother during a holiday of our family in Calella (Spain), on which souvenir has been stated: 'Recuerdo de Calella'.
